Admission Process

The academic year is from February to November and most Universities have 2 semesters with a holiday in June.

All students must be fluent in English language for a successful tenure in New Zealand. Waiver of IELTS / TOEFL is possible in some cases. A band of 6.0/6.5 for undergraduate & 6.5 / 7.5 for postgraduate courses is desirable.

 The Application Process

 Academic Documents

  • 10th and 12th Mark sheet and Pass certificates
  • Bachelors mark sheets and Degree certificate
  • Additional qualification (If any)
  • Work Experience (If any)
  • IELTS Test score (Min 5.5 Bands)

 Student Visa Checklist

  • Student Visa application form and the supplementary information form with Application Fee
  • Valid Passport and 2 Photographs
  • Educational certificates (with translations if required)
  • IELTS
  • Offer of a place and accommodation guarantee
  • Financial Documents
  • Education loan sanction letter from a nationalised or multi national bank
  • Bank statements for the past 6 months.
  • In case of providing fixed deposits as evidence of funds a copy of the deposit and a letter from the bank is required with the details of deposit. 
  • Evidence of Employment (If any)
  • Medical
  • Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

 

 

NZ has a sustainable economic activity in a variety of industries like IT, Production, Hospitality, Tourism and food processing.  International students in certain study streams are eligible to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic tenure and can work full time during the holidays.

Students successfully completing a 3 yrs duration Diploma/ Degree/ PG course / course under the skilled shortage list gain Points towards Skilled Migrant category, for Permanent Residency.

On achievement of a Job offer within the period of Job Search student can either apply for 2 years Work Permit or Permanent Residency depending on their eligibility.

Prerequisite of 2 years work experience is waived off for the students with NZ qualification.
